Pedal up for a great initiative
Have some fun and exercise with family and friends by taking part in the Northern Farm Recreational Users Group (NFRUG) and Central Gauteng Cycling 'Diepsloot Dare Charity Mountain Bike Race' on Sunday August 1, 2010 at Northern Farm to raise funds to replace 30 new bikes for the youth in Dieplsoot that were recently stolen.
The mountain biking section of the NFRUG is active in transformation and development with a multi faceted project providing life skills, mountain biking skills, competitive and recreational mountain biking opportunities and employment opportunities for some 200 youngsters from Diepsloot.
Entry fees are: R120 for 20 kms, R150 for 30 kms and entries can be made with the organisers at the venue and the wearing of helmets is compulsory. Donations and sponsorships are also welcome. Online entries are also available at www.cyclelab.com
