Johannesburg-based environmentalist and law graduate, Tamerin Jardine, placed in the Top 8 at the 13th International Miss Earth at a star-studded, glittering gala showcase event at the Versailles Palace, Alabang in Manila, Philippines on Saturday night. From the outset this 25-year-old was a favourite with avid competition followers and pundits alike and from the minute she touched down in Manila, Jardine did not disappoint.

Hirsch's Fourways was approached to join hands with Silver Ribbon to raise funds for The Baby House, a place of safety for abandoned, abused and HIV babies and toddlers, based in Lonehill. The House provides emotional, medical and educational rehabilitation to traumatised children as well as ensures that their court cases are processed to get them registered and eligible for adoption, fostering or the safe return to their family.
Tamerin Jardine, Miss Earth South Africa 2012, has taken her seventh medal of the Miss Earth International Competition, currently underway in Manila, Philippines. Jardine took Gold Medal honours in the Evening Wear section of the competition, her fourth Gold Medal of the competition thus far.

Many have been abandoned or mistreated, but with your love they will blossom into loving companions.
Four Paws recently rescued this poor dog from Diepsloot Township. He had been poisoned, he had very bad pneumonia, he was completely dehydrated and he had a large burn wound on his back. His chances of survival were extremely slim, as he was in such a horrific state.
