Douglasdale drug team arrest dealer

The Douglasdale police drug team arrested a 29 year old white South African male drug dealer in possession of 1kg of Cocaine with a street value of around R600 000 on Wednesday night August 4, 2010.
The drug team were in an unmarked vehicle and saw a white VW Polo go through a red robot on Witkoppen Road they followed him and pulled him over.
Police asked the male to step out of the vehicle and searched him; they found a package that they suspected was Cocaine in his pocket. They then found a brown block wrapped up in buff tape.
The suspect was placed under arrested and taken to Douglasdale police station where the necessary paper work was filled out and the drugs were sent to the SAPS forensics department for testing.
