NYE Sunset Beach Party with Grant and Anele
JET in association with 5FM’s Grant & Anele hosted the Sunset Beach NYE Party at Outer Limits Broadacres on Saturday 31 December – featuring over 30 DJs, a Hawaiian Pit BBQ buffet, exclusive VIP extras, a striking beach paradise and lots more. JET had to move the celebrations to a bigger venue for the hottest Beach Party to celebrate the end of 2011 in Johannesburg!
Party goers got to rock into 2012 with the super-club that flew First Class only! JET turned New Year’s Eve at Outer Limits into a massive beach party bash; last year, over 5000 party animals chose JET as the party spot in Johannesburg to say Hello to the New Year. This year was no different – the event started with a luxurious lunch buffet, followed by sunset cocktails and music all night long for a party to get your 2012 off to a spectacular start.
JET’s production team converted Outer Limits into an outdoor beach paradise with 40 tons of real beach sand, palm trees, a weather-proof VIP area inside the Trident as well as stylish lounges decorated by Rain furniture.
5FM’s Grant & Anele were the official hosts for the event, with 5 dance floors featuring 30 DJs playing House, Pop, Fusion, Hip Hop and all the hottest beats the JET residents are famous for! Hawaiian hula dancers, a Traditional Hawaiian Kalua Lamb Pit Braai, 16 full-service bars, state-of-the-art surround sound, audiovisual effects and intelligent high-end lighting all added to a supreme sensory NYE party-experience.
Grant & Anele was selected as the hosts for JET’s New Year’s Eve party to “ensure that the beach party lived up to the standards that fans expect, but also redefining the NYE beach party experience. Beach Bars kept thirsts quenched with local & international drinks and creative cocktails, including alcoholic Slush Puppies, while guests enjoyed the hottest and coolest beats on our beach,” explains Adrian Roberts for JET.
