Stars for Charity 2010
The theme for the 2010 Stars for Charity lavish gala event which took place at the Theatre on the Track in Kyalami on September 21 was “Around the World”. It was an exciting evening with an extremely entertaining programme to once again raise funds for the educational budget of Abraham Kriel Children's home.
In aid of: The educational budget of the 800+ children in their care. The day a child leaves his/her home at AKC to stand on their own two feet, they leave with one suitcase. It is our task to ensure they leave all their old baggage – the rejection, the abuse and disappointment behind. Their luggage for this life journey must, however contain an empowering education to guide them on their future way ahead.
Over 80 celebrities supported this initiative and moved around to different tables during the night to mingle with all the guests.
