This morning, Thursday November 14, 2013 just before 7am, EMER-G-MED’s RV01, RV06, M07, M06 and I01 as well as other services responded to reports of a serious Pedestrian Vehicle Collision on the N1 South just after the Rivonia off-ramp.

A fire broke out in Woolworths at Broadacres Shopping Centre this evening, November 6, 2013, fire-fighters are on scene and appear to have doused the flames. A witness at the centre said the damage didn’t look too bad.

Three pedestrians knocked down by taxi in Paulshof

The driver of a taxi allegedly lost control of his vehicle while he was travelling on Rivonia road and the vehicle then crashed through a fence at the entrance to the Chilli Lane Shopping Centre in Paulshof and collided into three pedestrians before coming to rest down the embankment.

This afternoon, Friday September 6, 2013 EMER-G-MED's M07, M03, TM01, RV03, RV06 and A01 responded to a serious MVA on Main Road heading North just after Witkoppen in Fourways. Paramedics arrived to find that a Maserati sports car had gone under a truck, carrying fecal matter, which was allegedly illegally attempting a U-turn in peak hour traffic.
